Overall poor showing of one of F.T.B.'s hottest songs. I think Kim just wasn't into it. Seemed slow placed. As usual though Duke is on top. Burning frets at the end!

Okay, I listened with eyes closed and I still like the vocals, especially when he says "Your lips I can't resist, Your Eyes, they hypnotize". The only part that seems lame is when he says "Baby don't do me like that". I guess I am missing something. Perhaps I need to listen to another version of this where he is more into it??

I don't know a major chord from a minor, but I have the original of this song and Vaughns' licks sends chills down my spine. This Duke seems pale by comparison, I am sure he is good though .

Hi Robertlaf, it was this line-up who wrote and recorded the song, it is not from the Jimmie era. Duke does some of the licks of the recording but as a genuine blues rocker he improvises most of the fills and the solo. You can tell how he didn't expect Kim to start singing yet (also reflected by Kid Bangham).

in my opinion after Jimmie departure TBirds began another group, telling better or worst is a matter of opinion (i love both, BTW).
To me, in particular walk that walk was the best demonstration of 'guitars interplaying' I've never heard. This video (and the few others in the tube about this concert) shows exactly what I mean...

Dude, I have the original album also, and Duke Robillard plays the guitar on it. Jimmie had left the band. So it is Duke's licks that sent chills down your spine.
