Perhaps all the Asian jokes are more character driven than people realize. Sony and other Japanese companies were buying up US entertainment companies in the 90s. This made the old Hollywood guard very nervous.
So it would make sense that Artie would drop the occasional bitter Asian gag.
The agents are pretty much all Jewish, so that wouldn't even make sense.
If unconvinced, let's just agree to differ ;-)
The world of character actors is a strange and eerie place. Here we have a professional Jew; there are professional fat men (and women), professional hicks, Limeys (I can say that, I'm a non-professional one), comedy Hindus, Asians (Miyagi-san, anyone?). Oy gevalt, out of work actors will do anything to find a niche in Hollywood.
