was it as fair as say....keeping an animal in a cage, with shit stuck to its body for its entire life, then killed by an electric shock or some other "HUMANE" method, then handled and stored by god knows who and what then you eat it you fn idiot. i hope you get mad cow, or asian flu, or some other disease from eating herbivore animals that are fed BRAINS because its cheaper than given them something like say... grain or hay! if we arent supposed to eat animals why are they made of meat?

For thick stuff, a .45-70 should do it. If its more open(shots past 100yds) I'd say a 7 mil. or .30-06 shooting maybe 180s should more than do it. Happy hunting.

22? thats pretty much just going to torture the thing, probably wouldnt die for a long time using that caliber. Plus you'd never find it after it ran all day after being shot. The bigger the caliber the less it suffers.

A Fair battle with a .22? You must not care about hunting ethically and humanely.
Use a big caliber (.300 WIN Mag) and harvest the animal with one clean, well-placed shot which will end the animal's life immediately.
A .22 will make the animal suffer and it is inhumane.
What I didn't like about this video is that the hunter probably just left his brass on the ground after shooting. Hunters need to pick up what they drop and pick up the trash left by others.

I have hunted my whole life but have to say that isn't much of a hunt with a rifle......too easy. Had you taken him with a bow it would have been a far greater accomplishment. Great granny could have shot that one. Good filming though!

Uhhhh, if the bullet placement is right you can kill it instantly. There was a case where a woman had a 22. rimfire in her garden. A bear came outa nowere and charged. She took the gun a shot it right in the eye. I would have used a bigger gun yes. But a well placed 22. can go a long way.
