Jim carrey is good, but he did a good job as The Riddler. I beleive that Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger got that twisted mind that the Joker needs. Don't get me wrong, I think Jim Carrey is good but I don't think he would be that good as The Joker. :/ Would be fun to see his translation of him but don't think he would fit in this dark Batman style. :P

Yeah he did do a good job. As campy as it was that movie was fairly decent thanks to Tommy and Carrey.
Well seeing him act in many slapstick type of comedies you might think he wont fit the "dark tone" of TDK but he's been in many serious movies. Its personal opinion of course. But I believe he could've tackled the Joker role.

Uhh no Ledger was. There are many adaptations of the Joker but Ledger got his Joker from some of the ORIGINAL NOVELS.

I agree. The one who played Batman (sorry, can't remember his name) were good but he looks like a kind of a B-actor, if you know what I mean. :P
I have never seen Carrey in any searious movies but what of I have seen makes me uncertain if he could pull it off, by the way can you name some of the searious movies? I have seen Cable Guy but i did'nt really like that movie

Are you talking about Val Kilmer or Christian Bale. I am not sure what Batman movie you are referring to.
Well Cable Guy kind of had a dark tone to it but the movie itself was terrible in my opinion. If you have not seen any serious Carrey movies check these out: Man on the Moon, The Number 23, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Truman Show.

Precisely, I thought that movie would be great but it was a flop. Man on the moon I have seen about 15 times but somehow i refere it to a comedy since it is based upon the comedian Andy Kaufman, on the other hand I have also seen The number 23. Good movie, really psychic. The other movies I haven't seen. Still I'm a bit skeptic to Jim Carrey as The Joker. :P

I liked both of the approaches at the joker. Nicholson was heavy on fun and moderate on being homicidal and Ledger all violence and not much personality. Made nicholson not real scary and ledger seem more like the green river killer than the joker. If they mixed their approaches i think they would have the joker perfected.
