I think matter and ... ( 2 weeks ago by markedwardsuk)
I think matter and energy are separate, but interact to form our 3 dimensional universe. Energy is attracted to matter but can not exist in the same space there is a limit to how close both can get. At the quantum, energy can form an orbit around mass, the frequency of the energy is overlapped and is multiplied as it orbits. Mass can only hold on to a specific amount of energy, additional energy is discarded.A black holes can only eject energy at right angles to the incoming mass/energy.

If I could choose how to die, I would like to die peacefully in the center of a nebula :)

i have a theory
i belive; like a sun it pulls things straight into it and objects orbit it
so see it like this we are in position in the milky way where we ORBIT the black hole we are not slowly being sucked in

im only 13 and i think that this is the most interesting thing in the universe
I'm 14 and I agree. ... ( 1 week ago by DemonicFireFly117)
I'm 14 and I agree. Did you know that time is said to move at the speed of light? And that the event horizon of a Black Hole has gravity so intense it pulls the light in? So some even say that going into the event horizon will make you go faster than light and possibly go to another dimension. That just amazes me...
Well scientist are ... ( 1 week ago by StinkyGreenBud)
Well scientist are saying there's 10-11 dimensions out there that we know of. So yes thats a possible theory

Thanks. I know more about it than I said in that comment, too.

Lol I'm only 12 and I was interested in this kind of stuff when I was in grade 4 (9, or 10 years old =P)
This is amazing.
I bet you there is another planet with humans living on it if it has the right conditions (like our planet) in another galaxy
Array ( 1 week ago by Crash22203)
Cool theory.
Maybe that's why we get crushed into particles we can't measure at all.
The gravity of the Black Hole is intense (like the Sun), which our bones can't handle, making everything squished...? (I am not a scientist =P It's some random theory)

one problem. if the ... ( 1 week ago by dinner4me)
one problem. if the cosmos is 14.5 billion yrs old and there are ,aparently, millions of black holes out there. why have they not sucked up all the matter? black holes have NEVER been seen by humans. They are a not classed as fact (in all theories) becuase even the top astrologers and sceintists are only guesing abot the realities of black holes, and they openly admit this. Black holes can not be proved, and to say they dont exist is as factual as saying they do.
No true. Totally ... ( 6 days ago by LeeRLang)
No true. Totally not true. They have proven that black holes exists by calculating the speed of which the stars orbiting it are moving. The speed of the orbiting stars suggests that the mass that there orbiting has a gravitional pull which is so powerful, that only a object such as a black hole could cause this. Also, the fact black holes trap all light makes them impossible to be seen, though the effects are still seen.
What's the proof of ... ( 3 days ago by Mariolaur)
What's the proof of this?
The laws of physics ... ( 3 days ago by darkenwren)
The laws of physics is the proof. Black Holes have been observed & measured. Not all matter is consumed by a black hole. Matter being sucked in is superheated. This superheating turns matter to radiation. At the edge of the event horizon, the visible edge of the hole's influence, superheated matter is split in large black holes. Half the matter is sucked in and the the other half is emitted as high energy radiation.
So, if the sun is ... ( 1 day ago by offroadrc)
So, if the sun is burnt out about 6 miljard years from now, we slowely go furder to the middle of our gallaxy until we come to the black hole and then our, by then mini sun and earth would be sucked in the black hole. game over.
Did you know that ... ( 1 day ago by xXheartbraekerXx)
Did you know that you CAN live in mars. Some scientists have said that since in Mars their is CO2 that if you take a bunch of plants you can live there. And it might be true,
Correct, but it ... ( 1 day ago by Moepdoep)
Correct, but it would take the solar system more than the remaining life span of our sun to travel to the center!
So there's nothing to worry about :)
The problem is, ... ( 1 day ago by Moepdoep)
The problem is, that even if there's CO2 at Mars, the atmosphere of Mars is very very thin.
Since Mars is a quite little planet and, what is even worse, has nearly no magnetic field, it's really hard to hold that rest of atmosphere.
Also, the weak field isn't able to protect the surface of the radiation and high-energetic particles coming directly from the sun.
This makes it very hard for any live to stand lang.
On Mars, there are also very high temperature variations (about 100°!) every day.
huh? ( 19 hours ago by xXheartbraekerXx)

again... what is ... ( 1 hour ago by dinner4me)
again... what is the proof?. saying they don't exist is as acurate as saying they do!!!
