dude Soundgarden didn't come out of MLB, Soundgarden were one of the older grunge bands, Chris Cornell was friends Andy Wood yea, and they did a project called Temple of the Dog, but other than that Soundgarden had nothing to do with MLB.

You're wrong about some stuff. TOTD was a tribute band/album to the death of Andrew Wood, done fter he ODd. Wood and Cornell were roommates at one time. MLB dissolved, TOTD only did 1 album, emebers went to Soundgarden and Pearl Jam.

I knew Temple was a tribute to Wood, i jumbled my sentences together, but Soundgarden formed around 1984, the only SG members in Temple were Chris Cornell and Matt Cameron. The other 4 members (Gossard,Ament,McCready,Vedder) formed Pearl Jam. So in other words Soundgarden wasn't a spin off of MLB, although you could say PJ was.

Not spin off but there was a connection between Wood and Cornell. Soundgarden was the first "grunge" band to be signed to a major label, the Deep Six compilation lists the first "grunge" bands, Soundgarden lasted the longest until they broke.

Awesome song, great band, i usually listen to classic rock ie. doors, zeppelin but this is one band that has that classic rock feel in a newer punk rock feel, Pearl jam forever.
