I don't think anyone will dispute me when I say that mothers are good, and have been a great blessing on society. There may be a few out there who are crazy, and throw their kid into a stove, but mothers are an essential part of our society.
That's the way it is with religion. Without, mankind would have destroyed himself long ago. There will always be crazy people, with or without religion.

i used to be christian but quite frankley, it didnt make sence to be religious since any time i acidentally said something in slight relation for or against it, i would create a fight

Well, I don't like to tear down other peoples faith too often, because some people need it to get by. But its good that you got out of the religion trap. I was raised a Jehovah's Witness, and I got out of it as soon as I could. Its all foolishness. Organized religion is about control and self-preservation; its not about peace or knowledge.

Yeah they are always the butt of jokes, but I doubt many people actually know much about the religion. They're not any worse than any other Christian. Actually, I really like some of the things I was taught. [For example, I was never told the Santa Clause lie, and I was never forced to pledge allegiance to the flag] Thus I have little regard for the consumerism of holidays and other "worldly" things. The only problem with the religion is they seem to think happiness is a sin. Very controlling.
