Yes, I know from experience that this does work but it's only temporary and you damage the console every time you do it. When I have the money next month I'm gonna get a PS3!! At least I won't get the red ring of death all the damn time.

yeah 360's break a bunch but i just let it sit up and play it. only problem is when its sitting up the disc reader wont open. But thats how i cool it down because it does overheat laying sideways for me :/

When it's three red lights it's the ring of death. Why not the Red Moon since it looks like a red C. The Ring of Death would fit a four red light Xbox 360 since it's a red circle. I'm just sayin.
