i have watched this video multiple times and everytime i do i burst into tears.everyday i wish he was still alive even though i know i wont ever meet him it would just make me feel better inside. i wasnt even born yet when he died but i still respect him 100%. when i first saw Stand by me i about died when i found out that the boy who played chris chambers died. i was heartbroken. My whole room is themed stand by me and painted on my wall its says "R.I.P River Phoenix"

When he died I cut out the newspaper clipping and saved it in a photo album...like Heath Ledger, I'll always think of the movies never made. He did have such a hard life...being molested and a child actor. His brother certainly carried the torch though and at least we can see part of him live on.

i truly agree with you, someone should have been there to take better care of him. I was watching the final 24 of River Phoenix on tv and when his sister and friend brought his ashes to his mother she took them and held them like she was holding a baby... it was so sad i burst into tears
