Yeah, but progress in fiber optics increased significantly in the 1950's (after Roswell). Quantum computers (yeah I read Timeline too) is a ways off before it replaces our desktops. George Bush is not the same as Corso. Bush was a rich kid who had everything handed to him. His status allowed him to avoid the draft for the Vietnam war. Corso was in combat in Korea. This guy came from humble beginnings and is a self made man.

I'm not saying that the technology of aliens are integrated circuits, but what was found at Roswell could have inspired ICs. For example, suppose primitive man sees modern man hunting a deer with a rifle. This may give primitive man the idea to use projectiles to take down a deer. So primitive man invents a spear or a blow dart, but a blow dart certainly isn't a rifle, but its a technological leap as far as primitive is concerned. I think this is the analogy that applies to Roswell.

Roswell wasn't Project Mogul. There is a vid here on youtube where a man dismantles the explanation of it being a Mogul balloon simply because the men working on the Mogul project were in contact with the base and the men on the base would have immediately known what the wreckage was. Mogul employed standard equipment any man on the base would be familiar with, only it's purpose was classified. All the witnesses of the Roswell crash claim they never saw material like this before.

sfumato1002: Actualy, the problem is that it is too much at one time, which happens when lies are kept for so long. If you research Einstein's 'Theory of Relativity', you will realize this isn't new. For example, Have you heard of a wormhole? A wormhole is a theoretical short-cut between two places and features on the Sci-fi show, 'SG1'where the stargate is an active wormhole. Well, ALL wormholes are time machines, per the physics involved. Again, look up Einstein, esp his 'Time Dilation'.

I'm a big fan of 'rational thought processes', but when it comes to skeptics/debunkers, you can catch them saying 'irrational' things all the time. I am watching a UFO special on tv right now, a segment on animal mutilation, and this professional woman said something to the effect that, 'There's no proof it's not human.' Well, unfortunatley you can't prove a negative. 'Prove it's not human', 'Prove I'm not Santa Clause', 'Prove I can't fly'...LOL....

hey something comes to mind. first of all, no private,corpral,seargant,liutenant is going to be able to make a press statement without higher clearence from the upper echelons. the fact they said it was a u.f.o. would have come from say a colonel. with the panic that ensued after H.G.
