Yes, it's not there anymore.
Includes the 7th inversion removed after the 1st or 2nd season
Historical note: There was actually a corkscrew incorporated into the drop hill, not diving loop like in the model.

What is really cool, is the fact that B&M designed Drachen Fire. They were busy with the Batman rides, so the design was given to Arrow Dynamics. That's the reason it was so cool, but so rough. B&M puts the heartline at your heart (realitively) while Arrow put it on the front of the train.

Drachen Fire opened in 1992 and closed after the 1996 season. It was left up for a few years while BG tried to sell it--almost sold it to Paramount--but in the end they had it melted down.

LOL. Sry to be nitpicky, but technically Drachen Fire was DISMANTLED, not demolished. If you "demolish" a steel roller coaster, people are gonna die.

I understand some of your point but don't quite understand the people dieing part of that last sentence. I believe you're right in that it was carefully taken apart when removed, but ultimately it was sold for scrap metal. - TheRapidsNerd

Ah, some times I mistakenly use "demolished" too interchangably with "removed" "taken down" etc. Teg had a good reminder here I should be more careful in wording, especially for historical accuracey. :) - TheRapidsNerd

Guess again. (I had season passes to BG in 1992, and then from 1997-2007. The first and last opportunity I had to ride on Drachen Fire was the one day I visited BG in summer 1996, and I rode it 6 times without getting off.)

I was just saying that to "demolish" a structure like Drachen Fire would have implied physically knocking it down; the pieces of the coaster would have fallen willy-nilly all over the place and it likely would have become unstable at some point and fallen over on the demolishing crew--something like that. (I was just messing witchu.)
The dismantling process had to be almost as meticulous and planned out as its initial construction.

Okay...according to Wikipedia and a bunch of other sources you are correct...however the statement from Wikipedia, "Drachen Fire continued to operate without incident until it mysteriously closed July 11, 1998" is FALSE. I visited BG easily 30 times between 1997 and 1998 and Drachen Fire was NEVER open.
Can someone confirm that they were able to ride Drachen Fire during the 97-98 seasons?...
