or blue rondo al la turc is in 9/8, but expressed as 3 measures of 2/8 plus one of 3/8.
not the avg 9/8 "tripolettes in 3/4" feel.

Gimme a break! John Bonham??! He couldn't have even done the clapping line. That guy is over-rated.

in all honesty, i think Zeppelin did quite a bit for music rhythmically (you should actually listen to them instead of sitting on your jazz high chair and be some condescending God.) sorry, not sure if you were half joking er what. I just think you should be more open to music.

ahhh ya'll are just making it more complicated than it is, just count it 1,2,3,4,1,2,3. makes the clapping part super easy (2,4,2&). hey and I am not saying dave brubeck and his mates were tops, they were. and the ending isn't a mistake i think that's the coolest, playing shave and a haircut 2bits, but turning it on the end note back to the beginning and repeating(since it is the same note)...AND fitting it in 7/8?!! genius

It is definitely 7/4. From the liner notes (written by Dave Brubeck): "Unsquare Dance, in 7/4 time is a challenge to foot-tappers, finger-snappers and hand-clappers."
