Jamal-Harrison Bryant Pimping for TBN with Steve Munsey
Uploaded by: IndependentConserv
Video Description:
Night 5 of the TBN Revival Praise-a-thon (April 8-13). Jamal-Harrison Bryant preys on the most desperate of people to send in money OUT OF THEIR LACK. He acknowledges Steve Munsey and played on Munsey's game of 7, a video you can see at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuydWziggVM
Then Bryant closes with the sinner's prayer.
Given his prosperity gospel method of preaching and his gaudy methods as can be seen at his own web site at empowermenttemple.org . This puts Jamal-Harrison Bryant squarely in the position of having a church of the Laodiceans. Meaning those who continue to follow him after accepting Jesus would end up having to repent of the sins Bryant puts on them, as described in Revelation 3:14-22.
As for Bryant himself, his methods of extracting money are corrupt. He is devouring the poor and leaving them with the desire to give for the sake of earthly gain. He is using the Word of God for dishonest gain. His mouth should be shut, please read Titus 1:5-11 .

Christ brought the completion of the old covenant. The old covenant brought financial blessings to those who obeyed the law of the Lord.
The new covenant signifies the riches of Christ in salvation and spiritual blessings for those who obey God.
Godliness does not equate to financial gain like these greedy people would like you to think 1 Tim 6. The Apostles and the 1st century church are the perfect examples of this.
He did not say follow me, and get earthly blessings.
He said if you follow me, youll have to deny yourself, and you may lose your life following me to the cross.
These greed pimps teach a gospel that teaches self fulfillment. Jesus taught a true gospel of self-denial.
Youll hardly hear the words "self-denial" at empowerment temple.
---Id greatly appreciate you posting where I have said that Christians should be poor---
Jesus said it is difficult for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. (Mark 10:23)
My question to prosperity teachers and followers is:
Why would you want to create a ministry with a focus that makes it harder for people to get into heaven, since Jesus said it is difficult for the rich to get into heaven?
Like I said. Christians should be poor people. They should be content like the writer of Prov30:8-9. Paul was content in prosperity, and need. Contentment is not taught in Prosperity circles.
Jesus said do not store up earthly treasures. We are not to love them, and put too much emphasis on materialism the way these ppl do.
--I mis-typed and said that Christians should be poor---
But in my very next comment, I apologized, and typed what I meant to type.
Here is a copy of the very next comment I made after I mis-typed.

I apologize, I say CHRISTIANS SHOULD NOT BE POOR PEOPLE....
But They should be content regardless of thier circumstances like Paul when he wrote Corinthians
You can look that one up too 1super
He saw the same thing in his day. The greed cults are in existence just as they were in Napoleons day, and in the 1st century.
The greed-cults that exist today are nothing new. Even non-believers like Napoleon saw their hypocrisy.
They say their treasure is in heaven: only lip service, because they live greedily.
The greed-cults still live today, and TBN is the leader of them all.
Christ fulfilled the Abrahamic promise which promised Christ. We share in that promise.
If today's Christians are promised riches by the promise of Abraham(as you say) then WHAT HAPPENED TO THE APOSTLES?
So you claim Old Covenant, well than you should live by the Old Covenant. Live by the LAW, all 613 of them.
If you are under grace, as you are not bound by the Law, you also don't have the same system of punishments and rewards. Under grace the gift is eternal life and riches in Heaven.
If Paul were around this 'gospel' would be a disgrace to him.
While many church members strive to make Forbes Top 50, theyre missing salvation and seeking 'principles' to help them gain earthly means.
Check Genesis 3, they wish to be God.
We try to reason with them from the scriptures, but they hold to their contrived system of LAW, seeking earthly riches. We're left to pray God might one day grant them repentance from this evil they promote.
They are helping the people like Jamal Bryants, and the Heads of TBN,
yes i know that god gave me everything i own so by giving my 10% i am only giving him
back what belongs to him in the first place.
but can someone please tell me why god who has everything would want to take back from me what he gave to me in the first place.
