this stuff isnt the real shit at all
the real shit is from HASBRO!!
I noticed that Takara really put a lot effort to their toys to make Transformers as valuable as possible...
On the other hand, hasbro usually could care less on paintjobs...sometimes they repainted it from Takara ones, thus causing it look cheap and does not resemble the show/movie at all....stupid hasbro...
Takara focuses more on "show accurate" designs/paintjobs while Hasbro simply make a toy and sell it (E.g: Takara movie Ironhide is a whole lot movie accurate than premium/regular hasbro movie ironhide!! u can google for pics online!)
Seriously, Takara versions may cost more, but they seriously worth every penny if u are true collector...
Honestly, try get Takara ones
The Diaclone & Microman toylines were the great pieces of engineering at the time & still are..
Takara also seems to care a lot more about the legacy of Transformers with it's high quality reissues & superior quality in general..
The first wave (84-85) of toys to me IS Transformers, after that Increased Hasbro involvement just seemed to cheapen the idea with more & more gimmicks..
