I'm just about the most hardcore Bach purist who's ever visited youtube and even I've got to say this was a pretty clever arrangement. I really doubt that even Bach himself would have had any complaints (other than why the hell we're so lucky these days to have access to such large amounts of talented vocalists and instrumentalists, when he had trouble even getting a decent sized choir and orchestra together in the same room)

Great song, but let me tell you it is a pain to try to play third clarinet part with no steady melody and lots of accidentals, and it's in 9/8 time signature! I get lost a lot when trying to play! We're doing this for our Christmas concert next week! God help us! lol :)
