Despite Obama's antiwar rhetoric,he voted for $300 billion in war FUNDING when he entered the US Senate in 2005.Senator Obama contributed more political efforts by voting in favor of the 2006 version of the Patriot Act.
Before entering the US Senate,Senator Obama contributed an anti--war speech.However,after Senator Obama entered the US Senate,and when it's time for him to turn his anti-war rhetoric into action. He voted EXACTLY how Senator Clinton did,except for one vote.
"It is just wonderful to be back in Oregon and over the last 15 months we have travelled to every corner of the United States — I have now been in 57 states," Obama said.
"I think one left to go... Alaska and Hawaii, I was not allowed to go even though I really wanted to visit, but my staff would not justify it."
This guy for one wants to increase FICA-SS tax dollars taken out our YOUR check every payday. Dems only know How to get more money to fix a problem.
Looks past the rhetoric in the speech's and ask "How , when, and who"? Details can be tuff for a politician that has never lead even a little league team.
Obama had legislation handed to him to pad his record in Illinois, and has been too busy campaigning to do squat in the Senate.
Obama's corporate-driven, dirty campaign and flip-flops indicate even HE doesn't know what he stands for.
Obama already has the blind support of many progressives and most African-Americans, so at this point he's much more concerned with stage-craft than accountability.
Where is your outrage in regards to Rev. Hagee, whose endorsement McCain gladly accepts when it suits him? Hagee is a not only bigoted against Catholics, but essentially praised Hurricane Katrina as divine justice against the city of New Orleans. Praising the deaths of almost two thousand AMERICANS is okay in YOUR book?
