Disagree! They were in their 40's when this was recorded. I think it is fabulous. They harmonize so well and they can all sing. Hell Freezes Over is one album which truly exemplifies why the Eagles are a legendary band. You must not be a real fan, because this is amazing

Genesis and Zepplin wern't bad, but you're missing the point. I could not find the original version anywhere throughout "You tube." I loved that version and wanted to save it. And I am a bigger fan of the Eagles than 99%. I've seen several Eagles concerts(At mile high and Red Rocks) and have had all their hits. They don't call me "SeventiesPopRock" for nothing.

I can name four bands that play as well live as they do recorded, play as well as the Eagles, and put on a great show: Metallica (old school, not current), Queen (sadly, FM is dead, so no more shows), Genesis (w/ PG), and Van Halen (w/ DLR, not SH). No one is putting down Walsh. He's great. But he's not unique. There are a lot of genius artist out there.

I have to disagree (sorry). I know a couple (good) song of metallica, Queen and Van Halen, but they're not really my style so I will not say anything about those three bands. I love Genesis with and without PG but you can definetely hear it whether they are live or not. They are good live, don't get me wrong, but not perfect. The Eagles however are live just as perfect as they are in the studio. I often can't even hear the difference. I don't know any band which can do that.

I helped a friend out by setting up chairs for a concert a few years ago and had no idea who was playing that night. The Eagles came out to do sound check and played 3 or 4 songs and it was by far the coolest thing I've seen. There were maybe 10-15 people in the whole place and it felt like it was a private show. Never have been star struck, but that day I was.
