| I just made up my mind early on that like all movies this probably wouldnt stick to the source 100%. Once I got that into my mind all the changes have been pretty easy to take. Just look at it as another timeline. If I let myself get wound up in all the changes I would make myself miserable, So Im trying to take the movie in it's own context and not think about G1 |

| And the characters for the most part seem pretty G1 consistent. Cullen is Prime, Jazz is the cool guy, Ironhide is the cowboy vetern, Ratchet is the healer. Bralw is anger incarnate, Bonecrusher is a brawler Starscreams voice sounds like a schemer, Bumblebee is the nice guy and Megatron is voiced by the dude who plays Agent Smith, a guy who hates humans too. As long as the basic character is maintained I think theyre okay. And the toys look super cool. |

| Bleh... I know what you're talking about exactly. Who cares if the film dosen't stick to EVERYTHING Transformers. As long as it's good and it does reflect on the 20 year fandom we've learned to love so very much, I'm going to watch this movie 'tis summer, launch fireworks, and Transform and Roll Out... TF FOREVER! |

| it wasn't broke and they tried to fix it. hopefully a sequel will come where the 'bot modes don't look like ridiculous McFarlane Toys and HG Geiger wannabees; they're overly designed and ugly with no excuse. i'll still watch after being a fan from the start... |
