In case you didnt know our best team was the 1974 team and the 1988 team.. and remember we nailed your team in 1988 euro cup and was it ur 88' team also one of ur bests? well we destroyed that teams chances of winning the Euro cup, what about ths current team uve got? some loser by the name of cappelo i thnk hes not going to keep ur team in the top half i bet. lol we got really owned by the English. EURO 1996 was not a good tournament for Holland and that's strange if you consider that during that period Ajax was the best team in the world with a lot of Dutch players. What I remember was that we had a few injuries and Davids was released by Hiddink because he insulted him for not letting him play in the first match against Scotland. I'm glad that 2 years later everything seems to be solved and we were one of the best teams during World Cup 98.

Thought we would lose this match - so went out to the pub instead rather than stay at home. got there to find 30 Dutch lads on an exchange. I had one of the best night of my life and the Dutch lads were great !!!!

We were unlucky not to go all the way. This was the one game I thought was going to be really tough, and a draw would have been a good result! It turned out to be the best England performance I have ever seen!
