I was at this show. Eddie's solo's were amazing and intense all night. Actually the 'guitar solo' is a nice break from the total insanity of his guitar solos all nice. This break, like Dave's break, and Alex's were like needed time outs. Change of pace. Eddie ripped like 20 years ago for two hours, let him get some feedback and echoes for a little while!!

Without a doubt my favorite solo of all time, it invokes more feeling(s) in me than any other piece of music performed or written by anyone else that I have heard. Everytime I hear it all I can think is; "Wow how the hell do you come up with something that is such genius?" This song has been seriously wronged when half the people you talk to that know of Van Halen, have never heard of this song. It should be included on his greatest hits cd. But these are only my opinions.

well supposedly ed is not drunk now...and he played much better in the past when he was a raging alcoholic. i think he's just...how to say...getting old...stiff...and i think he is not used to the feel of his signature guitars...once he grabs a strat he seems much more "at home"...

Well the recent solos, (From April onwards) Eddie plays much better than this, and he seems alot calmer on stage. He doesn't roll around etc etc and his playing is much more precise, all that was after his trip to the doctor. The change shows that there must have been something altering his state of mind, the difference between the post doctor trip Eddie and the pre doctor trip are obvious, theres alot of videos of recent performances on youtube, you can check them out. Also in my favourites.

4 Days earlier in Orlando Eddie SUCKED! With a capital S-U-C-K-E-D!
He actually rocked this solo like he can actually play. In Orlando he Fucked up 90% of every thing he played then just started strumming stupid chords.
I am pissed because I gave my tickets away for this show because he sucked so bad in Orlando.
