I agree. There is no distinction between legal and illegal immigrants, which is absurd. However, immigration policies as they are would cripple American society if they were properly enforced. Can any of us honestly say that we don't know a single person who we don't suspect of being an illegal? I certainly can't. The sanctuaries discussed are necessary because of the present inability of Bush and congress to solve the issue legislatively. I sincerely hope that changes after the next election.

Gravel/Kucinich stood in the moral right by informing the country that this country was founded on immigration and we should not alienate aliens. Biden/Dod/Obama answered no to sanctuary feeding the alienation, but effectively said yes to them as their is no way to enforce the policy as they really support immigration. Hillary said yes to sanctuary city's she was not supportive of the federal law.

i didnt cause his death. But he was one of the establishment shills. Cheney said it was one of the best forums to go on to get his message out to the american people.
Russert wasnt a "tough journalist", he only appeared to be. He played pretend journalist every sunday, and got paid big bucks for playing "gotcha" and ratings games.
Here he was propping up the corporate candidates, (makes sense b/c msnbc is owned by GE, a military industrial complex player), so any peace canididates=silenced.

He was participating in the diminishment of american political discourse (maybe I was as well with my "ROT IN HELL RUSSERT" remark too) but as a "journalist" he should have treated all candidates equally and not discriminated against the peace canididates just because his parent company is GE.
In his defense, he probably was told what to do, but he should have stood up for the free press and journalistic integrity, not corporate and establishment propaganda.
