This really is the end guys sry to tell u, unless a miracle happens, but even the creators themselves have always planned for it to be a 3 season trilogy. Btw in my opinion Zuko's mom is dead. For one thing the night she disappeared she told zuko everything she does was to protect him. So i think Ozai was going to kill Zuko but his mother took his place.

i don't really think she's dead because
in book 3 chapter 11 the day of black sun part 2: the eclipse,
Ozai said to Zuko during their confrontation:
- My father, Fire Lord Azulon, had commanded me to do the unthinkable to you, my own son. And I was going to do it. Your Mother had found out and swore she would protect you at any cost. She knew I wanted the throne and she proposed a plan. A plan in which I would become Fire Lord and your life would be spared.

you can see here that Zuko's mom was banished not exactly killed...
BUT! she might not be found yet...
Zuko asked where was his mother then the next scene turned into the scene in Ba sing Se...
Ursa was not there with Zuko...

There is NO SEASON 4. The producers of Avatar said so in a press conference.
Season 3 Finale:
-Aang fights the firelord, and takes away his firebending abilities.
-Zuko & Katara defeat Azula, & Zuko becomes firelord!
Another thing: The producers said they may do a spin-off series of avatar...though it'll be nothing like the real avatar, so don't worry!

- M. Night Shyamalan may not be the right director of the job...
some said that his movie Lady in the water was no good.
- Since its 20 episodes for the first movie, it might be too compressed
