Stephon has the physical abilities to play defense yes. He just doesn't have the mindset and technique to play good on-ball defense. Which explains why I said he would make a great help-defender. Guys who intercept the ball do play defense to an extent. They play the passing lanes and are essential in helping out the actual on-ball defenders. Stephon is just not an on-ball defender. Never was and never will be.
