This is my first fanvid! So I'd like to receive lots of comments, whether it's praise or constructive criticism.
This video is a bit of a "holding out for a hero" for Jenna in the film "Waitress." I made it slightly AU to fit with the song. I suppose it takes place in a reality in which Jenna never had an affair with Doctor Pomatter, and she continued to live with her husband as she had the baby. The video shows her far-from-ideal married life with Earl and the ideal man she dreams of as she asks herself, "Where have all the cowboys gone?" Jenna, being the modern woman she is, dreams of not just any cowboy, but a space cowboy! And Jenna's daydreams are inspired by a real life man she sees as closer to that ideal: Doctor Pomatter.
So enjoy, everyone! (Also, I believe that the way I made the vid sort of leaves the ending up for interpretation, so I'd love to hear how you understood my little story to end, and whether or not your understanding is the same as the way I envisioned it.)
