We warned japan that these two cities where on a list of 33. We dropped fucking leaflets all over those cities warning them to get the fuck out of dodge while the getting was good these cities contained factories that produced weapons for japans war. We gave the japanese warning we warned them almost a week in advanced we planned on utterly destroying 33 cities in japan, the two cities we dropped A bombs on had been on the list, we leafleted japan prior to this for the inhabitants to head for the fucking hills that we had planned to annihilate these cities because they contained factories producing weapons for japans war. We gave these bastards warning in advanced. What warning did the japanese give nanking or other places in SE asia? NONE!

all except for the leafleting of japan warning we had planned to bomb 33 cities in japan with nukes if they didn't stop the war. All 33 cities had factories in it producing weapons for japans war all where of military importance, including TOKYO! We had Tokyo on the list and after nagasaki the emporor realised Tokyo might be next so the fucker shit his pants and ended the war, end of story. Yes, innocents die in war, but when making an omlet you must break a few eggs. Tough shit.

Nuking of Japan was a neccesary evil, if ther US HAD invaded Japan would have been exterminated. That would have been the end outcome of a US invasion of Japan. You think im kidding? Look at the god damned island hopping campaign the US waged, the Japanese didnt surrender and ALWAYS fought to the last man. They surrender just to blow themselves up and kill more americans. Also, an unconditional surrender was neccesary for the US to rebuild Japan into something that will not wage war on its neighbors. The culture that was in place during WW2 and before HAD to be torn down and replaced.
And let me say this again. IF Japan had been invaded MILLIONS of Japanese and HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of American lives would have been lost, and more Japanese and American lives would have been lost during the occupation. The few hundred thousand killed was a low price to pay.

BTW people, the firebombings killed more people and destroyed more cities than the nukes, i dont see people pointing them out. Also to Americans, cut that PC bs. Well, UNLIKE today, the US did NOT have precision bombing, how the hell would the US have found and killed them? The only way to end the war was either 1: Invade and occupy Japan, which would have costed millions of lives. or 2: Start nuking Japan until they surrender, which was what happened, and only cost hundreds of thousands of lives instead of millions. Or would you have rather had Japan become like Korea; split between USSR and USA?
