This scene is so brilliantly acted by all involved. The way the confusion and panic is portrayed is just superb.
Incidentaly, the dark haired nazi woman is played by Olga Lowe who was onstage with Sid James when he died !

Ha ha! Yeah the German accents are corny, but still, I love this movie to death.
There's another scene where the Gestapo and army officers are arguing, and the army officer says, "IF ZER IST ANY DISTCREDIT, YOO BREENG EET ON YOOSELFF!" That makes me laugh too.

There are two radio rooms. At this stage they have taken out one operator (just off the courtyard). The main radio is somewhere else and they ony kill that operator later. Having killed him, Richard Burton uses the radio himself.

Just watched this again. Burton and Eastwood are super cool and compliment each other perfectly. 'A pretty second-rate punk". One of the best plot twists ever!!

Bingo! Yes, when I first played Return to Castle Wolfenstein it reminded me of this. Great movie, even if the idea of Richard "poured out of the plane" Burton and Clint (with far too much hair for a WW2 US Ranger)Eastwood as two allied spies is a bit too much to take.
