Wrong about receiver Shango.. We were in perfect position in the 3rd to get a receiver. Good value because of the round and tho not great talent in the receiver pool enough for insurance this year for a #3 receiver I love Glenn but he`s old you said yourself Shango we had a need at receiver that was a bad pick in round#3 we need a back up for Witten we can find him later in the draft or through free agency. I don`t understand the Defensive end pick either. The 1st round was great tho

I really like our draft. And i have some high hopes for some of the Undrafted Free Agents we picked up....mendola, Robertson and Dixon all could be players for us.

I don't think there were very many(if any) better than Crayton in the early part of te draft. That's why the WR's dropped so far.

Trooper...the WR's were crap. Why spend draft picks to try to move up to get a WR that will not be better than crayton.....it don't make any sense. Bottom line is that we had wr on the roster and that is a luxury....we had 1 back and 1 true corner...and you know good and well Witten is our #2. TWO pro bowl recievers? come on Trooper.

Man am I lovein the athletic potential we have on offense from this draft. I think Jones and this tight end picked up give us an even more explosive attack then we had before. I'm hoping Jones gives us that big play ability that we were looking for from Julius but didn't get. Fasano was plain and simple a Parcells guy. Jerry seems to like Terry Glenns return chances so i'm excited! Trophy number 6 or bust!

Witten is a # 2 what? He`s a starting tight end but I`m sure you know that but Witten needed a back up like I I said in a later round there was to much value with a 2nd round pick to go out and get a tight end that will play mainly on special team is STUPID when we have a age problem at receiver If you think Stanback or Hurd is the answer pass those rose color classes this wasy dude. We`ll have to agree to disagree . And by the way we still have Tony Curtis

I like Crayton a lot why not think about 2 years down the road when Crayton is playing every down and have a vet in to play the slot? Now does that make more since to you or would you rather have a rookie TE playing on special teams this year who will be cut when that contract expires just like Fasano. And lets face it Fasano is good we just couldn`t pay hi anymore. But we can afford Curtis

What should we have done at RB? Go into the season w/Barber & F Jones with Barber not being signed yet? If Barber gets hurt we are completely screwed with a rookie free agent in the backfield. What? do you want to be in the same position as last year when your top corners go down. We addressed the 2 NEED positions. A freaking WR will have to come later when we already have two pro-bowlers catching the ball.

Plus Trooper, look at Danny Amendola. Some say he is the most "ready" receiver this year. He is perfect for our offense. Look him up, you be amazed and happier with him than any of that other crap that we would have had to trade up to get.

The Cowboys made sure there more pressing needs were taken care of in this draft.
special teams (we drafted 4 guys that can take care of that). Running Back (was it Mikey Spagnola who said that Barber is the salt and Jones is the pepper?). By the way, you want team guys? Tashard Choice was an absolute LEADER on that G Tech team. God forbid Barber goes down this guy can take his load.
Corner Back? Jenkins and Scandrick come to a team that had no cornerback depth before this draft.

You have to plan for not only the season but the injuries that might (hopefully not) come with it. I think the Cowboys did enough to add the necessary depth to this team and added players that can come in and help this team win football games.
I have a strong feeling the Cowboys are going to pull something off for a Chad or Roy Williams. I mean Mario Manningham was staring them right in the face.

Overall we got what we wanted that's all I can say. A running back complimentary to MBIII, a cornerback that if Pacman doesn't get reinstated can be good in the Nickel or if Pacman plays in the dime situation. Plus, if Henry goes down which probably will happen, hopefully not, we got Pacman and Jenkins to put in and then we got a tight end that can compete with Tony Curtis for the second tight end position. Overall, we did a good job.
