This race is now tied for 2nd closest in Nascar History with a margin of victory of 0.005 Seconds

After the race they show a small Davey Allison tribute video, this race was 2 weeks after his death.

That was an exciting finish.
It looked to me like Earnhardt and Irvan had equally fast cars. A great drag race took place between Earnhardt and Irvan at the end.

Davey would have run circles around Junior. Davey's death was the beginning of the end of the Nascar we used to love. Dale Sr.'s death was the end.

I've had this clip favorited for a while now. Just watched it again, and man, the racing was awesome as was CBS's coverage. Classic Talladega shot at :39. Loved the ending tribute, with Davey's daughter playing with Davey's moustache at 7:10 or so, and then the shot of the 28 going down the backstretch by itself. Well done.
