This is why my great grandfather stopped breeding and racing throughbreds.
1.) Too young and they're bodies are not developed completely.
2.) IF something happened at the track and unless it was the winning horse most people don't care cause they put bets on horses and just want their money. They don't really care about the animal's well being.
