The main carecters name is Samus Aran and "SHE" is a human, plus one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy. Samus is not even close to being a robot. She wears armor that was given to her by the same alians that teached her hot to fight. Thats all you need to know to get started.

When I got into the metroid series I origonaly though Samus was a robot then I find out Samus is a human and I out of my stupidity asume Samus is a male. Then I find out Samus is a girl and go "Okey thats cool"
Then I see what she looks like without her armor and go "That really is a women 0_0"

It's really unknown, that suit was made by the Chozo, and when the Space Pirates tried to mimic the Morph Ball, they got horribly disfigured and died.

You know, I've just introduced my 8-year old son to Super Metroid for the Super Nintnedo. He loves it, and I'd forgotten how awesome that game really was.
...And it is so much better than this. The Prime series has really suffered from making it from the first person perspective instead of as a third person explorer. I don't care for the shrunken, sometimes blurry perspective that sometimes comes from Samus' viewpoint, and the camera shakes and makes me nauseous.

And frankly, no, I don't care if I get flamed for saying this. That's how I feel, and I'm sticking with it. The games in the Prime series look their best during the cut scenes, and not at any other time.

This was a fun boss fight to play. The whole idea of fighting before you hit the bottom of the tunnel was a pretty cool idea...they even put the number of meters until you crash!

It's kinda like that one scene in the Lord of the Rings with the Balrog falling down that long tunnel. (I didn't quite get that, one minute they're falling, the next thing they're on a mountain. Did they fall through to China? lol)
