Every decade is different. In the 80's music had a positive message, and some of it was a bit shallow....but so what? Don't put down 80's ,music just because you think it should be depressing like the 90's. They are different decades...the world would suck if EVERYTHING was dark and depressing.

Mark was (is?) a very great bassist (play the bass with sensuality, the keyboard was, Ô my God, was really (is?) to die for (a reference for me in rythmic and ornamental keyboard playing - new wave and funk/jazzy ). The 80's was a period of true creativity, talents, and hapiness where virtuosity was way behind all Money logic. That's why that commercial tunes were so delightful! Compare that with the crap of today!!!
