That was absolutely amazing. Breathtaking. Spectacular. A real masterpiece. Everything about this movie was wonderful. I hope it's on DVD. I am definitely going to buy it if it is. And those little white forest spirits are so cute! With their little shaking heads! :D I must say that I found Spirited Away highly creepy and disturbing, but this was very different. Then again, I was a lot younger when I watched Spirited Away...

i love the ending with the little spirit cracking its head now i feel like whatching this all over agian.(and it reminds me when me and my friends played in the woods every day untill someone eles wanted to join use every day in the woods and they wrected it but now its growing back*tears in eyes*i love this movie

For more Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli films, there's Kiki's Delivery Service, which is for a younger audience, but it's still kind of odd haha, and the ones you've mentioned...I can't think of any more. If you're just looking for anime films though, Akira is THE greatest film ever, so watch it :D. Ghost in the Shell OWNS too. For series, try Bleach, Cowboy Bebop and Elfen Leid, a few personal faves of mine :]. Enjoy! xD

I think the whole point is she can't live with the humans and he is not meant to live in the forest. They are still together, in a way, though. He said he would visit her etc. I guess you have to come up with your own resolution. One of my favorite movies of all time, animated or not.
