| When you go to 39 World Series you're bound to lose a few. We'll all be playing Baseball in heaven by the time any team catches up to the Yankees. The Yankees also won 4 more American League Championships in a row and two more World Series after 1960. And the Pirates? LOL! Between 1960-1979 the Yankees would win 8 League Championships to the Pirates 2. Also 4 World Series to the Pirates 2. Phil Rizutto was also there to say Holy Cow for those 8 League Championships as well. |
