| The Redskins played the Giants three times in 1986, and lost ALL 3. Dammit. Played em twice in the regular season, then in the NFC Championship at the Meadowlands, and lost 17-0. The G-men played the 49ers in the Divisional Round, that may be what you are thinking about MT. |

| Man, growing up in the D.C. area around that time when the NFC East was very good, and you knew that the division title would go right down to the final weeks of the season. Even the Cardinals, were ok at times during that period. That year, the G-Men just had that little bit more to out pace the Skins that season. |
