Sorry to hear about Al's passing.
I remember listening to his music on AM WLS The Big 89 Chicago in the late 60's and 70's from southern Missouri.
I heard a beautiful song played on The 70's Shack just after Al's passing last month called Take Me Back to Louisiana
I hope that song will soon be available on youtube...

What a classy man, not to mention his incredible voice. He has left us with so many wonderful memories. He will never be forgotten in the music industry. So sorry to hear of his passing...my condolences to the entire Wilson family...He is missed.

Sorry to learn of his passing. Timeless classic. I can listen to him on my Ipod over and over. Johnny Mathis actually had this song before Al but Al made it a hit.

Even as a punk kid I loved this song. Kinda unusual for a white kid back then to turn on to this song....it lead to a multi decade search for my soulmate..whome I found. Song's like this made me feel what it would be like to have such an attraction or love.
