If David was sick, then that was awful for Simon to pick on him and say he was nasal! Usually they say when someone's sick, but they don't give David that courtesy! They didn't even mention he was recovering from strep throat when he did We Can Work It Out. They are a lot tougher on him because they want a closer competetion. Every praise he gets, he earns it a hundredfold. He has to work lots harder for everyone's respect, yet he never complains or makes excuses. That's a true American Idol!

David Archuleta is the best contestant vocally. He has the voice of an angel...of a generation. David Cook has some rock star talent, but his voice is somewhat artificially "smoky". He seems to be trying too hard to sound like Bono or Rod Stewart. David Cook is selling sex appeal, not vocal talent.
