i hear the new album is really REALLY good. rollingstone gave it 4 stars which i rare since they mostly rate everything 3 1/2.
i think last time i read a 5 star review was for bob dylan's modern times album and sonic youth's last album called rather ripped.

type in "bruceshitshimself" and there's a clip of Bruce (Amsterdam, 1977) belting out the chorus of 10th Avenue Freezeout when he shits himself at the far end of the stage. Clarence calls him a "nasty-ass cracka" and walks off stage. Awesome.

I saw Southside Johnny at the Capitol Theater in passaic in the late 70s with my future wife and some friends. It was a new years eve show and after the show as the crowd was leaving those of us who were still there were happily surprised when Bruce came out onto the stage and got Southside out again to jam. I remember he was almost falling off the stage. I was in the same shape. Southside was holding him up. A good time was had. Does anyone else remember this show.

of course they did. It's called "sarcasm". The Zapruder film, which I referenced, was taken on November 22, 1963, so obviously they had color film in '78. Again, sarcasm.
