and thanks for generalizing about our generation without attributing the problems that WE are dealing with to the people who caused it:
(and if you're generalizing, why can't I?)
IT'S YOU!
YOU are the one who raised us to be a nobody in the suburbs
YOU are the one that gives us SATs ACTs and tells us we'll be nobody if we don't score well
YOU are the one who taught us this
The best thing you could do is stop telling me who I am
Specifically, how you speak for college aged students. Your generalizations are offensive, your lack of understanding is appalling and your tone of voice is dehumanizing. You make me feel like a dog.
Do me a favor -- look up the essay "The Problem with Speaking for Others" by Linda Alcoff, think about how you're treating us, and THEN post your videos.
So who is Alcoff "speaking for" in her book?
Herself?
Not a best seller yet, eh?
By the way, did you invent your own language?
Ayn Rand
Come again--WHO?
Ayn Rand
Come again--WHO?
B: "I am your mother!".
A:"No, baby, I am your mother--you are my child!".
B: "You are my child!"
A:" No, baby--see [points to herself] this is me".
B:"This [points to A] is me!"
Hmmm.
