Is there any reason to even hope, he has not lied about how he intends to use it, nor who he intends to use it against?"

Honestly, looking at this now, it looks like serious propaganda.
The only thing I DO agree with him on is that we need to reinstate the Geneva Convention so that we stop torturing random people, because that does happen, and it's seriously fucked up.
