no but why would you want to? the wii remote and nunchuk "spice up" the game! I FEEL SO GOOD JUST FLICKING THE WII REMOTE to shoot a goal, or to do a throw-in LITERALLY by mimicking the action with the remote and nunchuk! IT'S FABULOUS!
