It takes place aboard the PML AMRAAM 4 rocket boosted by the mighty Aerotech J350 motor at white lightening speeds to 1900 feet. very cool. I can't understand how the off side weight and drag from the camera did not cause the rocke to do a u turn into the ground? It flies pretty much straight which is really odd with so much drag.

The audio on the way down sounds like a lawn sprinkler on crack! Would be a good sound for an alarm clock. that is one bad ass rocket too! It is SO odd to see it from the angle that would normally mean yer dead!!!

With height of 570m and 18s freefall time, that gives us avarage speed about 114km/h and considering linear acceleration it's cca 230km/h when it hit the ground!! (for americans its 140mph:) That's some solid camera.

That's great! I live in Shorter Alabama and recently got one of these and I plan to launch mine also.
My plan is to place it in the fuselage though and angle two mirrors for a down the rocket view.
The next project is Great Dane cam though.
