It's a shame Paul's voice is completely inaudible here; otherwise the performance is fantastic. Don't see why they didn't leave it alone and just do a vocal overdub when they worked on this postproduction...instead of just pasting in the LP version...

Ringo later said that he could not hear the others, and the only way he could play in the same pace as them was to look at their movements. I think that would be a satisfying explanation to his bad singing here

It's the original audio dubbed over, but it's been cleaned up. The screaming's so loud in the original you can't hear the singing.

your version ringo is the first time i ever heard this song. yeah lucky for me, i have always thought it was the best version. damn, you were in a ass kicking band. although i was born in a country music territory. i was 5, no body can do the song like you did. rringo was also my fav in the (way backBACK MACHINE) toon. everyone pays their dues, because you know it dont come easy.
