Thanks a million for this. I was born in 1943 and Bobby Driscoll was my favorite as a kid. Second favorite was the young man that played in "The Yearling".

Thanks Bylot for this great video. Wouldn't by any chance have Jimmy Crack Corn? Burl was my grandma's cousin. Remember hin coming to the reunions a couple of times. I always bugged him to sing that song and Grandma would say, "he doesn't have to sing for his dinner here". He'd sing it anyway. What a sweet charming man.

This movie is not appreciated and I don't know why. It's a little gem. The animation is super quality and the soundtrack is dreamy, the village and the background is superbly recreated and Mary Blair created the concept arts for the locations. Things like the train, gramma Kinkaid cottage, the swamp and Jerry bedroom are worth the whole movie. The lamb is charming, Driscoll is superbly talented and smart, there are funny moments and poignant ones. Beautiful movie indeed!
