Give me one good example on when they are overrated? USC is always rated the top when most the time they shouldnt. And you wanna cry because we have a tv deal haha what a baby. Notre Dame fans are the definition of true fans and you wanna blame us for having alot of fan support wanting to watch our team. How is it being seen as a school with athletes who breaks rules and accepts money that violates athletic program standards?

Try in 06' when Notre Dame was destroyed in 3 separate games and needed a miracle/meltdown to beat MSU and UCLA. I'd call that overrated seeing as they went to the BCS that year. How is SC overrated, they've finished in the top 5 the last 6 years and gone 5-1 in their bowls.
When was the last time Notre Dame won a bowl? Hasn't it been like 15 years.
No one has proven anything against the school so I wouldn't know what that was like.

Our recruiting isnt by brandname its USC that recruits by bandname. Hey computerwhizz go check the last 15 years of recruiting and tell me about a selling point by brandname. Plus check the locations of those recruits hotshot.

The fact that you just said that ND doesn't recruit by brand name is ridiculous!!!! Thats all ND has. How do you explain getting a decent class after a horrific 3-9 year? Just look at location. SC is in SoCal while ND is in god forsaken Indiana. Unless I'm mistaken, Indiana ain't much of a recruiting hotbed

The only reason USC might've ever been "over rated" is because the people who ACTUALLY know what they're talking about knew that SC is worthy of being one of the best teams. Look at the recent history, and maybe you won't be so hypocritical about it.
You say WE want to cry??? Look at what you're saying and realize that you're whining about Notre Dame not being as recognized as SC is. USC does'nt recruit by "brandname", the good players just realize that they'd rather play at a better college.

Even though we do own them, lets not act like they can't recruit. Its that they can't coach up their recruits. I mean theyve got at least one of the two top players in california three years in a row. Even though Jimmy clausen sucks ass, we didn't want dayne crist, and we recruited Cierre woods as a CB and his bitch ass cares about his stats not the team.

With all this shit talking going on between SC and ND fans one thing has to be realize for both sides. Its the fact that the majority of SC fans would rather see bigger games on our OCC schedule, (which is limited due to the round robin), than ND. I'm sorry to hurt feelings but SC has surpassed ND in talent and the average fan would like to see us cut our teeth against SEC or Big 12 south teams to garner national respect. ND just isn't cutting it anymore and its time we drop them.

What you just said is plain wrong. No real SC fan would want ND off the schedule. ND dominated SC for 13 years and never thought of dropping you. But hey, don't listen to me. Drop Notre Dame. Just don't expect them to start playing you again when SC becomes mediocre again and can't sell out any of their home games. It'll be like the 90s all over again, except w/o ND on the schedule you'll be even LESS relevant. If thats even possible.

You really think with recruiting abilities USC has established were going to have another off decade? Even with 3 or 4 loss seasons USC is a national brandname that is going to recruit Cali and the rest of this nation, meaning Florida, Texas, Georgia, Louisiana, the list goes on. Plus we don't suffocate ourselves with over the top academic requirements that losing programs like to hang their hat on (ND). SC is going nowhere but up like the SEC, Big 12, Big East, but no Big 10 or BS independent.

USC is a great program, but to think they'll always be good is just delusional. Notre Dame is often viewedas the greatest college football brand name, they have more fans after a 3-9 season then USC will probably ever have, and they recruit fairly well in all those places you mentioned (Indiana talent isn't so great). Look where we are now. USC won't always be this good, and Notre Dame can't stay down forever. Thats why canceling the series would be an awful decision. Hopefully you see my point.

Are you kidding me? The ND games are one of the best every year. I love playing them as much as love to hate them. Eventually their gonna get better and the games are gonna go back to ones like 2005. That was the best game I have ever been at. But until they do its always nice to smack them and then move up in the polls cuz their sitll "Notre Dame"

Don't cancel the series! Do it every other year. That gives SC the chance to play big national games on their schedules that the tv audience is drooling for. I fucking hate SC's AD so much for backing off from more SEC games out of loyalty to the conference that ND should be apart of, the Big 10. Is that so wrong? Alot of SC fans want to see them play Florida, UGA, Texas rematch, LSU, Clemson, etc. Does that upset you that SC fans want that? Do you not acknowledge the grip SEC has on football?

Ok, Willinham had barely any depth in the lineup, thats why we did well for like 2 years cause those were good classes. But, when that class graduated and we lost like all our offense, what happens, we get nobody to fill in for them. Weis actually went and gathered a good recruiting class with alot of depth, please don't give on Clausen yet, he had no fucking line the whole year and he's a freshman, a new guy starting in the fast lane...patience is key, alot of new starters give em time.

Why would either school EVER drop the other from it's schedule. It is year in and year out the biggest money maker on the schedule no matter how bad or good the teams are that year. A year without playing ND would be like a year without playing UCLA.
