Uploaded by: infolivetvenglish
Video Description:
After 5 months of primaries, debates and delegate counting, the Democratic Party has finally chosen its candidate for the 2008 Presidential Campaign. Barack Obama, who began the race for the Democratic nomination as the clear underdog, has secured enough delegates to call himself the party 's presumptive nominee. In securing the necessary delegates for the nomination Obama has made history by becoming the first African American to be nominated as the Presidential Candidate of a major party. But as Hillary Clinton spoke to her supporters in New York after winning the South Dakota primary, there was no concession and no indication that her quest for the nomination is over.06/04/08
