| Was griffon built in the same location as Drachen Fire, i dont think it was. I went to this park in 2001. It was kind of weird, I was in the back and I caught a glimpse of this blue rollercoaster that looked insane. However, there was no way to get to it and it was clearly closed almost like a ghost ride. I asked an employee at Apollos chariot what this big blue roller coaster was and he said it is called Drachen fire but they are going to tear it down. |

| This was the coaster that broke my fear of coasters. I rode it 58 time in one day in 1997. I went back to the park for the first time in 9 years, it was so weird not seeing it there. |

| I remember seeing this ride sit there unused for years after it closed. What a waste. It's also weird that the ride's name is half German and half English. Keeping with that section of the park's theme, it should've been named Drachen Feuer. |

| this was behined the octoberfest house. the first turn on big bad wolf if u look up u can see where it used to be. if u take the train u can see the old drachen fire tran staion. |

| I remember when I was there in.. 2000~2001 it was still up but we couldn't ride on it and no one knew what it was. You could see it quite clearly from the new Apollo's Chariot coaster hill. |

| i remeber dis ride i rode dis ride when i waz lyke 8 for real mi dad took me there its was a good ride but it was 2 jerky and shaky and i saw this ride when i waz 6 when i move to frm Durham NC to Hampton Va i miss this ride so much im so mad that it got tooking down |
