| How lovely this video is. It's great to see these two old dudes together again after all they must have shared together. Bonnie is the unsung heroine of Merle's life, always supportive, never judgemental. She probably knew him the best of his former wives. Unfortunately i think that Bonnie's health was fast deteriorating when this clip was shot, but Merle was still in fine form, as he still is!! |

| God rest Mrs Bonnie's soul. What a wonderful woman and a true rock for a honky tonk man to lean on. If you think about the tenure she had with the Strangers then, you know how much Merle thought of her right up till her dying day. |

| It's wonderful to watch this.So sad that she ended her days suffering from Alzheimer's, it's such a cruel disease both for the person and their family.If anyone wants to get there hands on all of Bonnie's recordings, Bear Family Records have released a box set. I got it last week and it's great, it also includes her duets with Merle. |

| This is so good it hurts. I loved this song the first time I heard it way back when. I wore the 8 track out in my El Camino listening to this album. Such simple lyrics but so beautiful. Bonnie's voice chiming in just makes it perfect. One of the best ever. Thanks so much for posting it. It's in my favorites. Hope Mighty Merle lives to be a hundred. Him and George and Ray Price are just about the last of the great ones. We will never see anything like them again and that is so sad. |
