MSNBC is airing ridiculous piece of propaganda in the form of a Chris Matthews commercial where the pundit says that politics at its best is about gutsy people with ideas and "those who watch get to decide who is right".
Unfortunately, NBC recently changed its own rules in order to kick Rep. Dennis Kucinich out of the upcoming January 15th debate in Las Vegas.
Is NBC's parent company GE afraid that Kucinich's anti-war message could hurt its bottom line? And is Chris Matthews a hypocrite?

This corporate censorship and other forms of corporate control of the public's views are just becoming too transparent. I really have the feeling that violent acts performed by US citizens against corporations are going to spike in prevalence within the next couple of years. The manipulation of this presidential election will be the stone that completely breaks open the hornet nest.

NBC argued that under the First Amendement they do not have to allow Kucinich to participate in the debate. Basically, they used the First Amendment to destroy the First Amendment rights of a candidate. Nice system. Like Matthews says, "that's how democracy works"... ha! ha!

Dennis doesn't really have a chance, but this is not a good reason to exclude him. We need diversity of opinion, and these second tier candidates have the ability to really tell it like it is, rather than pander or soften their view for the gen elect. I think they are useful in focusing the debate on real issues/solutions. Pity: it's the voter's loss.

This country isn't ready for a free thinking president that will try and do the right thing. Republican or Democrat, Presidents are nothing more than corporate controlled puppets that are told what to do. This election is just one big dog and pony show that gives people the illusion that they actually have a say in which direction their country is heading.

Yeah, MSNBC isn't a "network" like NBC is, so they don't have the same obligations to serve the public interest that the NBC main station does. If it wasn't on cable, Kucinich would've won.

Excluded from the debate? Well that makes two now. Ron Paul was excluded from the Fox News debate 2 days before the NH Primary.
I like how Kucinich claries how all these other "change" candidate are full of alot of BS because they never get around to specifying exactly what that "change" will be.
