Lock the doors. Assume you're safe.
The horrifying events that took place in the Hoyt family's vacation home at 1801 Clark Road on Februay 11, 2005, are still not entirely known.
Champagne. Rose Petals. Candelight. It was supposed to be a night of celebration for Kristen McKa (Liv Tyler) and James Hoyt (Scot Sppedman). But after leaving a friend's wedding reception and returning to the houe, everything had collapsed for the happy couple.
Then came a 4 a.m. knock on the door and a haunting voice.

Writer/director Bryan Bertino explores our most uiversal fears in The Strangerrs, a terrifying suspense thriller about a couple whose remote getaway becomes a place of terror when masked strangers invade. The confrontation forces Kristen and James to go far beyond what they thought themselves capable of if they hope to survive.

James and Kristen loved eachother. James was going to propose at his best friends wedding. His best friend got married there, and soon then he propsed. Kristen wasn't ready. She declined him. James was broken. But he had already booked them a house, in the middle of no where. Kristen felt pity, so she said she'll go with him. His love for her, turned into a nightmare of both of their lives. After a couple of hours, they got to the isolated house. He called his best friend to pick him up later.

Then the girl said, "Ok sorry, but nice to know someone is home." She left with a smile. They couple thought it was a weird thing. Later James had to leave to buy a few things. Kristen was home alone, James forgot to lock the door. Someone had come inside, a man with a make on. Kristen didnt know though.

A black haird girl with a mask on. The Manson Family had come back to torture the new couple. Now the Manson Family was a mental family. It has been there pleasure to kill people, so they can make their sins go away. So they picked to torture this couple. She ran to the bedroom and locked herself in it. More screams.

Bryan asked her which house was she in. Kristen told him. Bryan told her that was his house when he was a kid, and that was the house his wife had died in. Then Bryan asked her had she answered the door. She said yes. Then Bryan told her he would call the police. Later after that, James came home. James still was in doubt.

This was all the way in California, so he also called the ambulance. Then James saw the ring, and he was happy again. He looked outside. He saw that his cr was broken down. James called Bryan, Bryan told James he had called the police. Kristen lost her phone, the house phone, and James phone got lost, too. They were terrified. They hid.

He went inside the house, and behind him was the masked man with an axe in his hand. James didnt see the face but shot at his best friend. James went outside to look. He realized he had shot his best friend. He was dead on his wedding day. There was blood splattered on the wall. Bryan was comming with the police and ambulance. Kristen and James were caught.

It was the morning. They were tied up on chairs. They Manson Family had unmasked themselves. The took 2 knives and had out it in James, and one knife in Kristen. They untied them, and threw them on the floor. Later, they had cleaned there clothes, and left in a truck they had brought. Along the road, they saw two boys and two bicycles with them. The two Manson Family girls step out. The boys were working for the church, and the girls asked for 3 papers to kill their sins, to kill again.

They left in the car. Then the two boys headed foward to the house Kristen and James where in. Then also Bryan and the Police had arrives on time because the Manson Family had come back. The kids saw the two lying on the foor. The Manson Family had grabbed the 2 boys, and had almost killed them until Bryan and the Police had showed up. They shot at them, once bullet each. They fell to the floor. Bryan went to touch James, he was dead. Then one of the boys went to touch Kristen, she was alive.

She screamed. she was pretending to be dead. She stopped after she saw Bryan. She hugged him, and cried at the same time with joy and sorrow. She tried to wake up James, but unfourtunley, he had really died. She sobbered, she told Bryan everything. Bryan then made a movie out of it. And the Manson Family went to jail, and yes, they are still alive up to this day, right now. This is how the story connected, and how 2 lives we saved, 2 lives had died, and 3 people started it. it is a TRUE story.
