The girl part is my favorite and the first lone of this song because at my sleep away camp my counselor would always play this and we just picked up the words to the girl part and couldn't stop singing it. And every time we heard the first line we would be ready to sing :)

I'm not trying to bash your opinion, but why do you say that it is the most basic plot in the world? This story is not something I see in theater now at all. I think it is remarkably honest and something that we hardly ever see now. Also, that duet, where they sing their themes together and it somehow works is frankly incredible to me; I love this music. I'm just curious as to where this opinion comes from.
